DEVOTIONAL: I AM NOT ALONE

This morning, I want you to breathe and remember this: God is already here. Before you think, before you plan, before you speak, He surrounds you. Nothing in your life takes Him by surprise. The things that feel unfinished or uncertain in your world are already held in His certainty.

The psalmist said, You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. (Psalm 139:5). That is true of you today. God has not only gone ahead of you into the unknown, but He is also behind you, redeeming what you thought was lost. You walk inside His presence like a child walking within a fortress wall.

Your faith doesn’t need to be perfect for Him to move. What matters is where your eyes are fixed. Remember the man who prayed, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief (Mark 9:24). That small confession was enough for God to break through. The power is not in how strong you feel but in the One you are leaning upon.

So today, when pressure rises, pause. Place your hand over your heart and whisper, “You are here. You are with me.” Let His nearness shift the atmosphere inside you.

PRAYER

Lord, I thank You that You surround me. You know what lies ahead of me today and You are already in my tomorrow. Strengthen my faith to rest, not in my own strength, but in Your unchanging love. Help me to walk with the quiet assurance that I am never abandoned. Even when I do not see the way forward, I will trust that Your hand is guiding me. Amen.

Lord, I believe; help my unbelief
