DEVOTIONAL: I CAN TRUST YOU

There’s a stillness that comes when you realise you don’t have to make everything happen. The world pushes you to strive, to fix, to force—but the Spirit whispers, Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10).

Stillness doesn’t mean inaction. It means trust. It means walking forward without the frantic energy of fear. It means knowing that even as you do your part and be still, God is doing the unseen part even if you can’t see or feel it. It is an act that proves itself. when you do it, not before you do it.

Today, let your confidence be this: He is not only working around you but also within you. He is shaping your life as you stay your thoughts, your words, and your heart on Him.

PRAYER

Lord, help me quiet myself today. Remind me I am not an orphan that is without a helper. I do not need to strive anxiously. I thank you that you show yourself strong on behalf of those who still themselves in quiet trust in You. I trust that You are at work in the things I cannot see, and I yield myself to Your timing. Amen.

Lord, I won’t strive anxiously but look to You because You won’t let me down.”
