God’s words carry God’s power to save you from anything and everything. Your job is not to save yourself but to receive and speak the right words. Do this, and you will live in peace and wholeness, safe from the chaos of the world.

The world is in crisis—economically, socially, mentally, and spiritually etc. You can feel it in the air, see it etched on faces, and perhaps sense it in your own heart. Many have adopted the survival strategy of keeping their heads above water—or pretending there is no problem at all. Yet the reality remains: the ship we are on is taking on water and sinking fast. The best the world can offer is “managed decline.”
But what if there was another way? What if we didn’t have to pretend? What if we didn’t have to cling to fragile hopes of “normal” returning? What if we could truly be saved from the misery and destruction that seem inevitable?
Here is the good news: there is a way—but it might not be what or who you expect. Is it the pastor? Some prophet? A world leader? No. Go to the mirror. Look at that tired, worried, perhaps seemingly powerless person staring back at you. That is the person God can use to bring deliverance into your life.
The Bible says Elijah was a man with a nature just like ours (James 5:17)—and yet he touched heaven and changed the earth. And you can too. It is not for the passive or the hesitant; it is the calling of those who refuse to sit idle while the world burns.
WHY NOT JUST JESUS?
Smith Wigglesworth once said that God will bypass a thousand people to find the one who has faith. Not because He doesn’t want to help them, but because He can’t. In Luke 4, Jesus spoke of the many lepers and widows in Israel who were never healed, yet Naaman the Syrian and the widow of Zarephath were. Outsiders—yes. But believers.
Consider the woman with the issue of blood. Jesus did not say, “God has healed you,” or “My power has healed you,” or “Your pastor has healed you.” No—He declared: “Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace [wholeness].” (Luke 8:48). Faith then is the activating ingredient. The Greek sōtēria means salvation, deliverance, wholeness and preservation. The Hebrew shalom (shālam) speaks of completeness—nothing missing, nothing broken in any area of our lives.
God is always willing to save—but He can only manifest His saving power where faith is present.

Faith is the plug that connects you to the limitless power of God. He has given us “great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4). The supply is there—everything for life and Godliness—all you have to do is connect.
The short answer is, for Jesus to help you, He needs your faith!
WORD, FAITH & POWER
Scripture answers:
- “Faith is the substance of things hoped for.” (Hebrews 11:1)
- “Your faith has saved you.” (Luke 7:50)
- “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
- “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)
- “The just shall live by faith.” (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17)
- “All things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23)
- “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?” (Isaiah 53:1)
God links His Word, our faith, and His power in one unbreakable chain. If all things are possible to those who believe, what do you want to be possible right now? There is a promise from God that covers it.
In Acts 11, an angel told Cornelius to send for Peter,
“who will tell you words by which you and your household will be saved.”
Not maybe. But definitely!
So why settle for a spoonful of Scripture once a week? The banquet table is set—will you feast?
PLUGGING INTO THE SOURCE
If you own a home, you likely have an agreement with a company to supply you with electricity—energy that powers your lights, your appliances, and your entire way of life and makes life easier and more comfortable.
But here’s the reality: no matter how much electricity that company generates, it only benefits those who are actually connected to the system.
You could have an unlimited supply available at the power station, but if you never plug in, you remain in darkness and discomfort.
The Kingdom of God works in much the same way. Heaven’s power is not scarce. God’s grace, wisdom, and provision are constantly flowing, without interruption or rationing. The question is not whether His power is available, but whether we are truly connected to it. Many live as though they have a spiritual “mains” supply but never take the simple step of engaging with it—through faith.
They are like someone who pays for electricity yet sits in a candlelit room, complaining about the dark.
Faith is the plug. The Holy Spirit is the invisible current that flows the moment the connection is made. Without that point of contact, the promises of God remain theoretical, much like power lines humming overhead that never enter your home. The potential is there—the transformation is not.
The apostle Paul reminds us:
“My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
That is the heavenly contract. But the fulfilment comes when we actively connect, drawing on His power for our daily living. It’s not enough to have a theological agreement with God; we must have an operational connection to His life-giving power.
You must plug your faith in.
JACK AND THE BEANSTALK
Consider Jack and the Beanstalk. It’s not a myth. It’s your story.
They were destitute and as a last measure, Jack’s mother sent him to sell their only cow—you don’t do that unless you are desperate and at the end of your rope. Jack returned not with money, but with a handful of beans. To everyone else, they were worthless seeds. What they did not know was that they were magic, and when planted, those beans had the power to connect heaven and earth.
If you will get the right words from God’s seed basket, you can do the same—not because you are special, but because the seeds are special.

The power was never in you, and you cannot save yourself from what is happening or what is still to come. The power is in the seeds—enough to save you, your household, and everything connected to you. Get the right words, plant them deep, water them daily, and those seeds will also connect you to heaven.
This is how you will gain all of Heaven’s riches stored there for you, and they will move from being a distant promises to a present reality. They will move from “myth” to fact in your life.
If you own a Bible, you hold the storehouse of God’s power in your hands. Feed on it, and you will see life flow into your relationships, your health, and your finances, because you are what you eat!
Remember: The power is not in you—it is in the seed of God’s Word. And the Word is faith’s fuel.
FAITH IS THE FUEL OF THE SPIRIT
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John 5:4)
The process is simple. Luke 8:11-12 gives us the recipe for faith.
“Now this is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. The seeds along the path are those who hear, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts so that they may not believe and be saved. [divine intervention]”

So here it is:
- Take the seed (God’s Word).
- Plant it in your heart.
- Faith grows.
- Faith draws God’s saving power.
That is why the enemy works so hard to steal the Word, because stealing the seed is stealing your provision, blessing, help, resources, and your future. These seeds are heaven’s bounty in bite-sized form.
Get the right words, plant them deep—and watch them save you and your household.
FINALLY: WHO ARE YOU?
You may be sitting here thinking, “I don’t have a contract with God yet. I’ve never signed on to His covenant terms.” Beloved, that’s the easiest thing in the world to change. All you have to do is ask Him—not with empty ritual, but with a sincere heart. He is always there listening. Open your mouth and say:
“Jesus, I want You to power my life. I want Your Spirit in me, guiding me, transforming me, and leading me into the fullness You promised. I want my “house” to belong to You.”
That’s it. Heaven doesn’t require a stack of paperwork or a spotless history. The contract was already signed in Christ’s blood; your part is simply to accept it. In that moment, you move from being outside of the covenant “grid” to being in Christ—under His covering, His provision, and His eternal promises. You are now on His network.
And for those who already have this agreement—those who have already agreed to the New Deal—your next step is not to coast, but to feed your faith. Faith is like a living organism: if you feed it, it grows; if you starve it, it withers.
The moment you feed your faith, your faith will begin feeding you.
As Romans 10:17 declares, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” Feed your faith with His promises, and you’ll find yourself living from a place where the contract isn’t just signed—it’s active and producing fruit daily.
QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION
- What area of your life needs a fresh seed from God’s Word today?
- Have you been feeding on the Bread of Life daily, or just in small portions?
- How have you seen faith activate God’s power in your past?
- What promises from Scripture are you currently standing on?
- How can you guard the seed of God’s Word in your heart from being stolen?
PRAYER
Father,
I thank You for giving me the measure of faith and for filling my life with Your promises. Teach me to value Your Word above all else, to plant it deeply, and to guard it fiercely. Let my faith be active, growing, and producing fruit in every area of my life. Your words are life and strength to my soul and my life. Guard my heart from fear, and tune my ears to hear only Your voice. Teach me your right words that save. Let my lips echo only Heaven’s truth.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
