Welcome to The Hungry Hearts Collective, where the truth will set you free from the grave clothes that bind you, allowing you to shed the limitations that rob you of life. Just as Jesus called Lazarus to come forth from the tomb, we invite you to step into a space of renewal and growth. Here, the meat of God’s Word will not only satisfy your hunger but also empower you to embrace the fullness of life that awaits you. Together, we will unwrap the layers that weigh us down and bind us and rediscover the vibrant freedom found in faith, Biblical truth and community.
In the garden of God, we are the palace of the King, a sacred dwelling place for the Divine. Though we may feel a bit neglected or a little shabby at times, this is nothing we can’t address together. When we awaken to the extraordinary truth that we are designed for relationship with God and acknowledge our dependence on Him, transformation begins. This is a relationship defined by Him, not us; we are simply invited to participate in it on His terms. This realisation reshapes our inner world and illuminates the path to spiritual abundance. As the Psalmist declares,
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4).
Yet many Christians mistakenly believe that simply acknowledging God is enough, thinking the paradise of His kingdom within us will flourish on its own.
Scripture reveals a different truth. As we survey our lives, we often see them as reflections of our inner landscapes, just as 3 John 1:2 states:
“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
When our lives feel barren, the initial hope we held evaporates like a mirage, leaving behind only a fata morgana in an inner desert where paradise seems lost. This does not mean the paradise of God within us is absent; it is very much alive, waiting for our acknowledgement and care.
The kingdom of God represents the very potential of God planted within us, and this potential is for all intents and purposes unlimited—more than enough for anything we could ever need.
But it is waiting for us, you and I, to provide the right conditions, as a gardener does, to begin flourishing.
Recognising this abundant potential leads us to an important truth: paradise comes with instructions.
We do well to discover what those instructions are and implement them as soon as possible. Many Christians curate a pseudo-spirituality—sincere, yet ultimately unfruitful—resulting in inner gardens that resemble disaster sites rather than the promised land of the Lord.
This often arises from well-intentioned beliefs that have been passed down within the church. Clergy may repeat them. Long-time Christians might share what they’ve heard without fully examining the validity. These so-called “truths” will not yield the expected results promised in Scripture. Even the wisest among us, like Winnie the Pooh, knows the value of pausing to reflect and think deeply about things.
The call to stewardship is clear in Genesis 2:15:
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and protect it.”
This commandment reveals that nurturing our spiritual lives demands intentionality, commitment, and a willingness to engage deeply with the divine presence within us.
Together, as His palaces in the garden of God, we can embrace these instructions and restore our inner landscapes into flourishing paradises, reflecting the glory of God’s kingdom. In unity, we’ll ensure that our palace shines brightly and our gardens produce a rich harvest, a testament to His love and life that dwell within us.
